Global Cash Flow Network Review
Is Mary Gersten's Certified Media Placement Specialist Program a Scam?
Global Cash Flow Network by Mary Gersten is an online
company that specializes in education and training courses teaching entrepreneurship and advanced business skills. The main program they market to the public is the Certified Media Placement Specialist course which attracts the majority of folks to this company.
To most people this sounds like a new and exciting employment opportunity, something that they've never heard of which has unlimited potential for success. However if you read between the lines of their sales copy and have spent some time in the home business niche it's fairly easy to see what the course is all about.
So What Does a Certified Media Placement Specialist Do...?
As the name suggests Global Cash Flow Network will provide you with training in how to place media ads online. What this entails is using advertising programs developed by the search engines such as Google's AdWords program.
This is also known as Pay Per Click marketing since you will have to bid on search terms that you want your advertisements to appear for. The idea behind this program is to set up ads for products that you're an affiliate for and use the search engines to direct online traffic to your offers.
If a customer makes a purchase through your ad you'll earn a predetermined commission of the sales price of the item. The trick to making a profit with this method is to balance your advertising expenses with your sales earnings.
So is Global Cash Flow Network a Scam or a Legit Business...?
The concept behind the course is not a scam and using search engines to market products is not only legitimate but a booming multibillion dollar industry. However there are a few things that you need to know about Global Cash Flow Network before doing business with them.
The Certified Media Placement Specialist course is designed to take you through a sales funnel containing several different products. There are three levels of coaching and each step the sales reps at Global Cash Flow Network use the opportunity to up-sell you to a new service and more training.
If you take advantage of all their coaching options by the time you're done you'll be facing a total cost of up to $5,000. In regards to these upgrades there have been mixed results as some people have found them valuable while others believe them to be highly overpriced.
The other source of customer discontent stems from the fact that much of the course is dedicated to showing you how to promote the same CMPS course that you just bought. This tends to irk people, but remember that the skills you learn promoting this course can be applied to promoting other products.
The bottom line is that despite all the complaints out there on Global Cash Flow Network some people have made money with this course. The question you need to ask yourself is how much are you willing to invest and how hard you're willing to work because there're also plenty of folks who've bought the course, followed the steps, and have come up short.

Michelle Texas | 4:36pm on June 23rd, 2011 | After I had a family emergency and was not able to "work" on "MY" website.... after 7 months, I cannot any longer get on "MY" website I purchased!! Has anyone else had this problem??? I am VERY upset!! Not counting the fact I no longer get any "help" or emails from them. |
Marilyn Meeks Ramer, Tn | 4:41pm on June 6th, 2011 | I tried to work this program exactly as I was instructed. As a result, I have lost $50,000 and not 1 penny in return. Mary Gersten and Sam Dozier are the 2 names I can remember that cost me the most, but there were many others. A very valuable lesson. I am very disappointed in these people who made me believe in them and when they got all my money, their phone # suddenly wasn't a working number any longer. The worst experience of my life.

lorraine texas | 3:01pm on May 27th, 2011 | This company is %100 scam. I stayed with the company for a whole year and didn't make a cent. But lost $1000. I was suppose to have gotten my refund fall 2010 but no one answers the phone. Or answers my emails. Its really frustrating to know that I basically threw my money in the trash. Don't buy this product. You will regret it! |
Andrea Canada | 11:59am on February 17th, 2011 | This is a total scam!!! I purchased the Ultimate Traffic System one year ago for $1695 + SH, 5,000 leads.
It did not produce one single cent. Now I should be eligible for a refund after one year according to contract.
All their phone numbers at help desk do not work, are disconnected!
There is no reply by email either.
There is absolutely no way to get in contact with them.
They still today are sending out emails to people. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!!!!! |
Sheena PA | 5:48pm on February 9th, 2011 | If you are researching this company and wondering if this experience is for you, don't do it. I took a chance on Global Cash Flow Network from Arizona and have been waiting since oct. 2009 for a refund. it is now february 2011, and still no refund. Everything said on this page is true because it happened to me. |
Edlisha Harris Pontiac Mi | 12:46pm on January 27th, 2011 | I've Been trying To get in touch wit Mary And the Cmp They Never Called Me back or reply To Messages i don't know if she is A SCAM.... I Need Info On my websites |
Brian Davis St. Louis, MO | 3:55pm on October 21st, 2010 | I'm surprised that someone as late as Aug 2010 is still trying to contact these people. This is definitely one program to stay away from, that is if they even still there. They basically took me for 1000s of dollars. I wish I could have all my money back from them. I suppose I should have paid attention to the old saying, (buyer beware!) |
Brian Six Oakdale, CA | 3:28pm on August 22nd, 2010 | I'm still dealing with GCFN. Discover card agreed that I was due a refund, issued to me, now GCFN has reapplied the charge via Discover card. I'm in the process of 'discussing' with Discover card. I can never reach anyone at GCFN. I refused the product shipped to me last April, still have the proof that it was returned. Hopefully, I don't have to go the legal route. |
Jason Atlanta | 12:49am on May 26th, 2010 | This company is a Joke! You WILL NOT MAKE MONEY!! Save your money and your sanity!! |
william las vegas | 10:47am on April 21st, 2010 | Very evasive sales ploys, dishonest portrayal of their business model, and a condescending attitude towards challenges to their program. 'Risk Free' claim made is bogus. Up selling to dubious training programs their main business focus, and can be expensive. Stay away from these people. |
Jeff Reynolds New York, NY | 5:42pm on September 24th, 2009 | When it comes down to it, the program is great for people trying to get into online marketing. The introductory package is an absolute steal at $300; I was truly blown away. The up-sells may be a bit too steep for some but I've found the extra material included to be worth it in the end. I also like the fact that there are the comprehensive guides, that walk you through the program. You can tell that a lot of time was put into creating this and it looks to me like they're constantly updating it. I'm only a few months in and after completing my 14-point checklist and moving onto the more advanced marketing techniques, I love it. It's great because now that I've got the basics down, I'm getting into some of the juicy stuff and it keeps me excited. I make it a point to sit down and work on it for at least an hour or two per weekend or whenever I'm feeling anxious. I've actually made money using their techniques by selling shirts through an affiliate program! Before the CMPS program, I had no idea there were so many ways to make commissions online. After the thousands I've thrown away with other BS programs, this one actually delivers. I won't give it 5 stars because it's not perfect but it's absolutely the best "make money" program I've ever bought, it's more like a training course/start-up business than anything else. |
