They also go by Universal Internet Experts. Same people, same scam. I fell for it and now I'm trying to get my refund. I'm within the 14 day cancellation window, but of coarse they won't call me back.
I've left messages. Sent a fax today and sent the same letter to them.
The CC company is taking over from here, because I'm sure they will not call me until day 15.
How do people sleep at night knowing they are stealing from hard working people that work for their money. |

All these comments are very strange considering I spent over $4000 bucks and made about 10k last year during the holiday. The tv commercial they produce is real and people who say they got ripped off probably didn't follow through with the business. Always excused from people who never had a business. IT COST LOTS OF MONEY!!!HELLO??!?? |

We have been taken for 9000.00 by WebIncomeUSA which uses Fortune500USA for their advertising. Their so called commercial is a joke and of course it was never run on any station at any time. I am sending copies of all these complaints to my credit card company. You have the right to dispute a charge up to one year with most of them. Please post your complaint and take the time to send it to the Attorney General of Arizona. His address is on line. |

This company is a scam in the worst possible way. They continually change their name to stay a step ahead of the lawsuits. If you signed up recently, cancel. You only have 14 days to cancel. Don't let them talk you into it or offer to charge you less. Cancel. If you are lucky enough to cancel within the time period, call them everyday if you can. Friend of mine canceled in the nick of time but waited a month to call about his refund. If you sort out the lies they won't even think of issuing you the refund until you call in. Even if you send them their "packet" back with a note. They won't do anything till you call. Make a nuisance of yourself I'm sure they hate it. If need be I'd threaten them with a BBB complaint or Attorney General. A scam like this needs to stay just inside the law but enough complaints will put them out. Best of luck to all |

Web Tech strategies /Fortune500usa is a Big scam. They got over $7000 from me. I put on a credit card. I was told they are one of the best home business in the industry an stupid me
believed them. I had no idea the 2 companies were the same. I never made a dime in 6 months. What a scam. I tried to dispute the charges by with the signed paper work they have the dispute failed
What can a people do about scams like this. The people on the phone really sounded like they know what they were doing to help me. It will take me a very long time to pay this $7000 back. Money I never had to begin with.
Any ideas to get my money back would be great.
thanks

What do you have to do to make this work? I had to get advertising. Does any body on here know how to advertise? I don't know where to start looking. I got to make this work... |
C Grady Houston, TX | 6:57pm on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009 |
I was working with Web income USA, LLC and Fortune500USA was used to bill some advertising for them. Since I didn't know Fortune500USA I called the number on the credit card statement to find out who it was.
Paul Gunderson answered the phone claiming that this was a scam and a fraud. He claimed the number was his home phone and someone was using it to scam people. He gave me Detective Swainson from the Scottsdale, AZ police department phone number (480) 312-5363.
Detective Swainson said that he has been following up on Fortune 500 USA and Web Income USA as being scams. He said they are working just inside the letter of the law and suggested reporting them to the Arizona Attorney General office. Terry Goddard of Az Attorney General office can continue collecting complaints against these folks until there are enough complains to do something.
Good Luck to you and protest any charges that you get from them. Especially if you put it on the credit or debit card. |

I bought the basic deal for $250 with a promise that I would get the hosted website plus a personal coach. Two days later the "coach" called - the coaching consisted of trying to sell me up to $9000 in television advertising TODAY - NOW. When I said that I wanted to speak with my wife first, he encouraged me to put it on my credit card TODAY and that I would get a paycheck or two before she would find out. Some coach. I started the dispute process through my credit card company for the $250 and we will see where this goes. |

i am glad i found this site. got a call from
fortune 500 usa. told them i would think about it
and give them a call later. started looking for
f 500 usa on line . look what i found. all these
people can't be wrong . the way they do people
even if you sold any thing off your wed site
would you get any money from your sells? NO
all these companys that want to sell you a wed site
work the same way. they don't want to help you.
if you want to sell online build your own web site.
you will have to put some time in it and work.
there are sites out there that will be glad to let
you sell there stuff for them. you know if someone
sets you up with a wed site they get a bigger cut
of the sales than you do. think about it.
you will have to spend a little money to build a site . but thats the only way to go. hope this helps some one.
good luck

I wasn't as lucky as some of you, I was scammed. I have had to send in a complaint to BBB of Arizona and hoping I will get my money back. You have 14 days to cancel. Keep track of all your dates. Call and cancel now. It wouldn't hurt to put a stop on any payments to them. |

AVOID THIS COMPANY - DO NOT EVEN TAKE THEIR PHONE CALLS! THIS IS A SCAM.
I have a horror story just like the ones that have been posted before mine. I am legally disabled with a very small income. The Fortune500USA salesman, Gene, even knew this when he scammed me out of $5,000. I thought I would be making money for my son's college education and told that was my plan. Instead, I ended up throwing $5,000 to the wind. I told the salesman that my husband would divorce me over spending the money and he replied that my husband would "be happy when all the money starts rolling in." Not one cent has rolled in since November 21, 2008. What kind of person takes money from a disabled person knowing they have a son about to start college? These people do not have one iota of sympathy or integrity.
The day I made the agreement I knew I had made a mistake, so I called and requested my money back per their suppposed "30-day money back guarantee." I had been told that I would get to choose the name of my web site. However, they magically had a web site for me, already posted called http://nostressjustshop.com. I'm sure they have these sites ready for people that want their money back. Well, it has been nothing but stress since.
When Black Friday and Cyber Monday had passed and I only had 9 clicks to the Amazon site, I began to wonder what was going on. I am a former computer professional (which makes me feel like an even bigger idiot, but I have chronic fatigue syndrome and don't always think clearly) - anyway - I started looking at the code behind the buttons on my web site. On my main page, out of the 27 clickable items, only 2, that's TWO of them had my Amazon Associate's ID tagged to them. In other words, if someone clicked through on my web site and that button had someone else's associate ID, there's no way I could make a commission on that sale. When I pointed this out to my contact, John, he acted extremely surprised and said he would check on it right away.
A weekend passed and my husband was furious. He called them and gave them an ultimatum. When they finally returned the call, they said they would compensate me for the 'losses' over Black Friday and Cyber Monday by sending me a check for $2100, and, give me my web site free for 3 months. That was early December and I haven't seen a check yet. In fact, no one at Fortune500USA will return my phone calls.
I filed a complaint with the Arizona State Attorney General's Office in late December and there has been no response to my complaint from Fortune500USA as of today, January 22, 2009. My only alternative from this point on is to hire an attorney. I am filing a complaing with every Better Business Bureau in every state of this country. I am posting information about this unscrupulous company everywhere I can. I have also contacted my local television stations, hoping they might do a story on my situation. I don't want this to happen to another person, and especially to a disabled individual.
Now, my husband and I are separated and he has not been able to forgive me for doing this, even though he knows it's a scam, and that I was under a lot of stress at the time. Trust me, I have suffered. I am living with my mother now and probably will be for quite a while since my SSDI income is just a little over $10K a year now with the recent raise. I don't see my 18-year old son every day like I should. This has been a terrible time in my life.
It makes me wonder if the people at Fortune500USA even have souls. They obviously don't have any heart or integrity.
If anyone out there has any information about what else I can do, please post here.
Thanks so much. Susan in Louisville |

I too joined the fortune500usa.com earlier this year. It was a nightmare and I lost over $6,000 when I joined their advertising program.
First I purchased the website and paid the hosting fees for two months. Then I was contacted by their advertising program to participate in the program.
I purchased some items of my affiliate site and was shocked at the results.
#1 I only received 4% commission and when I called them to find out what items were marked at 4% I discovered that all the most popular items were marked at 4% and that only a limited amount of items are marked at 15% commission. I thought that this was just ridiculous.
#2 After my purchase I was surprised to have numerous follow up emails directly from amazon.com informing me of their latest products and advertising specials. I couldn't believe it Amazon was stealing my leads and leaving me high and dry. All of my advertising dollars were being used to build traffic for Amazon. Unbelievable!!!
I was convinced that nothing will be charged to my card until the Authorization form arrived in the mail. So I thought I will have time to think about it before finalizing the deal but to my horror they were able to charge my card anyway.
I called them and told them I do not want to be a part of their program and I want my money back. They replied that they could not do that stating that the initial conversation was recorded over the phone making it legal and binding. I was irate!!! Never the less they were adamant about not refunding my money.
Note I never signed the authorization form for the advertising campaign therefore I am in the process of suing them for my refund and other damages. |

DON'T give Fortune 500 USA any of your money. You are just throwing it away. I gave money and wasted 2 years to 3 simular scams and said enough is enough.
You can build and "control" your own site. It does take effort from you. But its yours.
I just submitted my sitemap to google and Yahoo with 305 web pages.
Go to Yahoo Small Business and join the site builder program for FREE. You have to build your own site but it is easy once you get started. Last night I built 6 web pages in about an hour.
Yahoo site builder has all kinds of tools and reports to help you monitor and improve your site. It is free except for the small monthly domain name fee. Before you decide on a domain name you need to do some research. If your domain name does not have keywords from your home page you will be at a disadvantage from the start. My first mistake.
If you want newbie tips you can contact me. |

Got a call on Saturday, was skeptical, but she was very convincing. Got the price down to $115 including shipping of my paperwork. THEN it was about $30 for my website per month. THEN I said no, but again was swayed her way.
Shortly after hanging up, called the bank and asked to stop the charge. Will put cancel across all paperwork and copy for proof. Called the company, got a machine stating they worked m-f until 5:00 pm. I left a message.
A stop payment has already been issued for the monthly website charge.
Hope this helps someone who is debating on this "opportunity" or who has not put a stop payment on their monthly website charge.
Thank you everyone for your review. |
