Email Cash Project Review
Is www.emailcashproject.com a Scam...?
Email Cash Project
(emailcashproject.com) is the latest biz opp making its debut in peoples' email
boxes across the US. Since the advertisements and website don't reveal
what the program is about I've been getting lots of questions from folks wanting
to know exactly what this project is and if it's a scam or not.
On emailcashproject.com you'll find the following claims:
| • |
The author will show you the secret email 'loophole' that makes him
$453 daily! |
| • |
3 simple steps that turn ordinary email into a
virtual-goldmine! |
| • |
10,000+ companies that will pay you up to $500, right now, just for sending
simple emails! |
| • |
How to make money sending 1,000's of emails to 'interested' people
instantly... |
This rhetoric still leaves much to the imagination but if you read
between the lines you'll be able to get a clearer picture of what this
course is about.
So What is the Email Cash Project...?
This is clearly a course in email marketing, basically building a
subscriber list and then sending them offers for which you're an affiliate
for. If someone from your list purchases you earn a commission from
the sales price.
One buzz word that gives this away is the 10,000+ companies line,
whenever you see that you should know that they're referring to an affiliate
network site like ClickBank. These are places where merchants host
their products and affiliate marketers come to choose which offers they'd
like to promote.
This is a well known system and almost every affiliate marketer uses
email to promote products, down from the big name gurus to the lesser known
beginners.
So is the Email Cash Project a Scam...?
It's not really a scam as they are trying to teach you a legitimate
marketing strategy. They also provide you with some tools like a lead
capture website which you'll need to collect your customers' email
addresses.
However, they definitely over exaggerate how easy it is to make money
using emailcashproject.com. The fact is that you need to pay for
advertising for your website in order to get visitors to your offer.
Also email marketing is definitely a numbers game with on average 1 out of
every 250 or so people purchasing something you'd need a subscribers list
over a hundred thousand to make any decent money.
I would recommend approaching the Email Cash Project with very realistic
expectations. Yes email marketing is a real and legit method for
making money but it's meant to be used in conjunction with an existing
online business.
People don't just hand out their email addresses you need to provide them
with some kind of value in the short and long run. In the end it's
about building a loyal customer base and not trying to make a living out
of spamming email addresses.

Jessica Kansas | 3:29pm on September 7th, 2010 | I received an email about making money from home and how easy it was, all you have to do is send people emails! Yeh, right! They don't tell you about all the steps you have to go through and sign up here and there and blah, blah, blah. It's a big run around to just get your money, I think. I want my $47 back and I tried the number that Karen listed but it doesn't work anymore. Anybody have a up-to-date phone # so I can get my money back? |
Rosie California | 5:02pm on April 14th, 2010 | Ok!

juanitta philadelphia pa | 7:35pm on March 4th, 2010 | wow i was really about to sign up for this program... guess im going to keep researching huh.. |
Warren UK | 5:33pm on February 15th, 2010 | Thanks Steve! and thanks for your reviews. Very useful to know. Paying for this type of email marketing info is not such a great loss if you can afford it. When you have searched around as much as I have and got into debt - you become very wary. There is a way to learn, get creative and start up your own website for free - you can always upgrade later once you have made enough to cover. |
karen cooper Apollo, Pa | 12:08pm on February 4th, 2010 | I just got off the phone with My Email Cash Project. The phone number is 1-800-207-1132. I talked to one girl and told her I wanted to cancel this and she redirected my call to another girl who first started to say they would look into things and then she changed her tune. She said that within 7 to 10 business days my $27 dollars would be refunded back to me. I told her I would give the company 10 business days to refund my money or I would report them to the Better Business Bureau. She was very polite. |
James Orlando | 11:10am on August 20th, 2009 | I was lucky enough to sign up when they had a sale for hosting and traffic, so I actually got 5000 names in my list. I've made a little bit so far, $225 - so I'm going to see how it goes. If I make any more then I'll keep the program.
I'll keep you posted! thanks Steve! |
Tim Swiggett Randleman | 10:23am on July 15th, 2009 | Just wanted to say "thanks again" Steve. You are "The Man". Wish I'd found you a year ago instead of last month. Keep up the GREAT work!!! |
Francesca Los Angeles, CA | 1:22pm on June 23rd, 2009 | After three days of purchasing their work at home opportunity, I found it not so simple as they put it. So I requested my money back, but I've yet to get it after 3 weeks. Email Cash Project dot com is not what it's cracked up to be! |
Ana San Francisco, Ca | 11:43pm on June 11th, 2009 | Thank goodness for your review Sarah, Ohio, I was almost going to get this program, luckly I research before I do anything, this days is so hard to make a living the last thing we need is someone trying to rip us off!!!! |
Sarah Ohio | 12:16am on May 19th, 2009 | I ordered this program but then found out that I needed to spend several hundred dollars to stay with the program. They state that they will give you a refund "no questions asked" but yet even though I requested a refund over 3 weeks ago I still have yet to receive it and the number that I was given to call stays busy or lets you leave a voice mail and they never return your calls. Plus they charged me twice. So be prepared to be ripped off should you change your mind. |
