After being laid off from my job of eight years, I needed to look around for a place to move my 401K. I decided go with Charles Schwab after a recommendation from a friend of mine. I am very delighted with the service I've received thus far. The customer service is excellent and their advisors are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They were very patient and thorough with explaining my options as far as my investment and retirement goals. I was also very impressed with the array of investment/retirement vehicles that were available. So far, their advice has paid off; even in this economy, my IRA has made minimal gains.
