There's an easy to use online support desk on Cashunclaimed.com You can communicate directly to support staff from that page. It's linked to from the top right of every page of the site where it says "Customer support".

You can ask questions there or just click on one of the links for easy to follow instructions on how to cancel.

I went on this website in July 09 trying to find out if my deceased Mother had any unclaimed property. I thought I was only signing up for a one time charge of $11, guess that was my mistake because I had another charge of $11 on my credit card for Aug. 09. I called today to cancel the membership and spoke to a really nice gentleman who said that I shouldn't be getting any other charges. We'll see!! The reviews I've read make me suspicious. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

My main reason for writing this website, is to let anyone know if they are needing to check on theirs or anyone else's unclaimed property there is a free website "StateofCalifornia(put in your state.org, then select option for "Secretary of the State" and then type in "unclaimed property" in the search box if you can't find this option.

THIS IS A FAIR WARNING! IF YOU JOIN CASHUNCLAIMED YOU ARE ONLY ASKING FOR ENDLESS TROUBLE! Yes! This is a scam. I joined under the $11 a month plan and have had trouble from day one. Once in the program all you get is the run around and if you try to cancel all you get is the run around. If you go back to your old emails, which I did, to try and get a real contact person or phone number all you end up with is someone who cannot(OR WILL NOT HELP YOU) or just another deadend. I have written three emails and called every phone number I can find and this morning while checking my debut card I found they had charged me $11 three different times again causing my debit account to overdraw. I AM HERE TO TELL YOU THAT ALL THAT BOLOGNA ABOUT HOW EASY IT IS TO CANCEL IS THE SAME CRAPE YOU GET FROM EVERYTHING ELSE THEY DO. ONCE IN, YOU CAN'T GET OUT. IT APPEARS I WILL END UP CANCELLING MY DEBIT CARD OR STILL END UP IN ARREARS. ALSO, IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE LOGGING IN, FOR GET IT....I HAD MY LOGIN AND PASSWORD SENT TO ME AND EVEN COPIED AND PASTED IT AND STILL COULD NOT GET BACK INTO THE SYSTEM!

It's really easy to cancel your subscription after you're done with their site. I just clicked the "customer support" link at the top right of their webpage. I think that link is on every page of the site.

Just go there & the instructions to cancel are simple.

Overall, I think the site is OK. They had money listed that my relatives are owed. So don't forget to search for your friends and families names before you go cancel.

I do not use credit cards so I subscribed through the mail...........and this was in feb.,I'm still not able to access their web site to search my name or any name at all....This isn't at all what their web site says ....It's definitely a scam to fleece subscribers of their money!

You cannot cancel once you sign on for this service. I have attempted to stop these monthly credit card charges with my credit card company, but they are unable to do so. You cannot get a telephone number or email address to contact these robbers. Stay clear of this scam

Just as a lark, my mom went on the site and found about $500 from accounts that she and my dad had in 3 states going back to the early 1950s. She found what may be another few $100 for other family members, but I haven't heard yet if the money was theirs.

I paid the $11.00 and put my name in and they said that there was $782.00 in unclaimed money in my name. So I started to look at all the names and none of them were me. This site is the worst. I have not been able to log on. I continously have to re-enter my user ID and password but still am not able to log in. On several occasions I have had to get my password from you and it still did not work. At one p[oint in time I was able to log in and see that there was money for Elizabeth Oliver. I have resided in NYS and now live in Georga.
What ever the problem is I am unable to figure it out.

I was very displeased with this service it claimed that I had money that was unclaimed in my name but what I found instead was people in other states that had the same first and last name. I found this to be very disleading and it is not worth the $11.00 that is being taking from my account. I learned the hard way about cash unclaimed.com. they are a joke and very disorganized. I also didnt realize they were charging me every month until I canceled. i didnt check my bill for a few months and then saw they had charged me $33.

I am now a member at unclaimed money and have been pleased with the structure of the site and certainly the fees. If anyone ways to search the legitimate sites, i recommend these guys very highly. plus they are also available by phone which was a huge part of why i joined them.

If you sign up and need to cancel and can't figure out how, send an email to:
cancellations @ cashunclaimed.com with your full name and the email you signed up with. AND you have to send your cancellation request a minimum of 4 business days before the rebill date to avoid being charged for your current months subscription. They will process your request within 3 business days.

I did not find that Cashunclaimed was a scam untill I had filled out the information and certified the $11.00 fee, then I was told I was in error and could not get back to the site. I will have my credit refuse the payment and not make the mistake again. Something should be done at the States level about these types of scams.

I found a bunch of people with similar names, not mine, and, it cost me $11.00 to find this out. Now I can't cancel. There is a telephone number to call, and, guess what, the recorded message says that they don't accept phone calls. They state that I will have to cancel on line. My problem in they won't allow me to bring my info up to cancel.

I would like to tell you that there is another way of getting unclaimed money owed to you. At least each state has a unclaimed funds department now. However I found missingmoney is a good place to start. This is free and will link you to the states. I tried each state I lived in and did find I and my children did have money in a couple of states. It takes a few months to process the claims but we all got our money that was due us. There is papers you have to send to the states to prove who you are and if you are the one that is owed the money. Sometimes it is very little funds and I my self received over $500.00 so I felt a little paperwork and time was well worth it.

I had received a letter from Unclaimed Cash telling me that they found some money that belongs to me. But I had to send the $12.95 for them to contact the agency that to get the check to send to me. So, I decided to go to my states comptroller's website and browse through their unclaim property/cash and guess what there was some monies due to me. It was the same information that Unclaimed Cash had told me. But guess what? I made my claim right them and there on my states comptrollers website. I had to pay a 1% fee but that wasn't a problem at all. I got my check within that month. So, beware of these companies trying to scam you and give you information about things that you can do yourself. So, I thanked them for the information and they got nothing for me.

I have received a lot of letters stating that I have unclaimed money and for a fee they would get it for me and then send me the rest. I went to my state controller's website and found that I can get it myself for free by downloading the application and mailing it in. FREE! I did have unclaimed cash and got it back FREE! I paid the $11.00 to get access to the website. I did this after typing my exact full name. It said that I had money. So I wanted to investigate it further. What I found was a bunch of different people with my last name and the first intitial for my first and for my middle name. This is not worth the $11.00
