Canadian Diamond Traders is a new get rich quick scheme being promoted across the internet.  However, Canadian Diamond Traders is a cleverly designed pyramid scheme that promises members a diamond and money upon reaching the end of their pyramid.

There are four levels to this pyramid that start with a person placing a deposit on a diamond.  At the first level they are a Diamond Miner after they recruit more members to join they move up to Diamond Cutter, then to Diamond Polisher, and then finally the big payoff at Diamond Collector.

After this cycle is complete members are persuaded to rejoin again starting from the beginning.  The Canadian Diamond Traders scheme has spread to many countries across the globe.

Most recently the Western Australian Department of Consumer and Employment Protection issued a statement in which they believe Canadian Diamond Traders to be a Pyramid Scheme Violating the Fair Trading Act.

They go on to say that they will fine those actively involved in recruiting and promoting this scheme.  Companies like Canadian Diamond Traders who focus primarily on recruiting new member and don't even distribute a tangible product fall under the pyramid scheme category and are illegal.
