Benjamin Graham
Benjamin Graham is a world renowned investor and economic theorist. Although much of his work was done throughout the 30's and 50's he retains his popularity partly for his legacy and partly due to the success of his iconic pupil, Warren Buffet. Buffet has religiously credited Benjamin
Graham as his greatest and most prominent
influence. In his lifetime Benjamin
Graham authored 4 books, 2 of which are
still being referenced today. They are
Security Analysis and The
Intelligent Investor, both are also
endorsed by Buffet.
Benjamin Graham, "The Dean of Wall
Street," was known for his distinct approach
to the stock market. He has advised
investors to focus more on the health of the
companies they are investing in rather than
strictly on their day to day market
fluctuations.
Graham, along with David Dodd are
known for developing and advocating Value
Investing. Essentially investing in
companies poised to be great at reasonable
prices. Even though he was a proponent
of Value Investing he was known to say that
investors should stick with what works for
them.
Overall, everyone can learn something
from Ben, a man that achieved a
lifetime of financial and general wisdom.
Regardless of which investing approach you
prefer Benjamin Graham's memoirs and
books share his deep understanding of the
stock market.
It's important to
understand that ultimately, there's
no one investor out there with all
the answers. It's up to you to learn
as much as you can through a variety of
resources in order to understand the big
picture of trading. I would recommend using
Benjamin Graham's tips in
conjunction with additional trading
resources in an
ongoing educational process.
One great tool that I personally recommend is Free INO TV where you can view educational training videos from some the world's top analysts.
This is the type of information you'll get at seminars where a seat could cost thousands of dollars.
It's surprising that most people don't know about such a great resource that
thousands of traders are using every day to improve their trading skills. Click Here For More Info.
