Auction Listing Employment Agency

Can you make money as an Auction Listing Agent?

The auction listing agent work at home scheme has been heavily advertised recently under a seemingly countless number of aliases (Cathy Banks, Elizabeth Jackson, Angela Werthers to name a few).

It can be priced anywhere from $60 up to $197 and more, and is often advertised through fake newspaper articles that may look something like this.

The news article usually features a woman from your area who is making a great living from home, and also includes a nondescript video clip of a real news story about working from home that has nothing to do with being an auction listing agent.

At first glance this may seem like a legitimate home business opportunity and really a simple way to make some money from home, but lets look closer.

First of all there is no such thing as an Auction Listing Employment Agency. The people running these programs simply use that as a catchy title to help sell their courses. They like to show you simple examples that’ll have you thinking all you have to do is simply list a few items on auction sites and get paid by the advertiser.

In reality what they do is charge you an up front fee to introduce you to a business opportunity known as drop-shipping. This is the practice of using a wholesaler to sell goods via auction sites. Now, what these courses auction listing courses don’t tell you is that there are additional fees involved.

You have to sign up with a drop-shipper in order to have access to their inventory, which comes at a monthly fee. You also do not get paid just for listing items, there are no guarantees in this business, you only get paid when someone bids on and purchases your products.

Why You Should NOT Purchase Auction Listing Courses...

There’s really no reason to get involved with any of these companies. All they do is simply act as a middleman between you and the drop-shipper, claiming to offer you training. What they’re really after is the big commission check they get whenever one of their referrals purchases a subscription from their recommended drop-shipper.

If you do want to get involved in this business then simply do some research online and you’ll quickly find enough free resources to get you started. You’ll still have to pay the membership fees but at least you’ll save yourself some money by avoiding these courses.

Fact of the matter is that these courses have been around for several years now and in that time they’ve done nothing but generate customer complaints. There’s a reason why they have to keep changing the names of their sites and spokespeople.

If they had a legitimate training course that actually helped people learn this business then they’d be operating under the same name with a solid reputation. As it stands they don’t, and just keep getting new customers using deceptive advertising and false claims.

Just remember there is no such thing as an auction listing employment agency, or auction listing agents, or auction listing jobs or whatever else they’re going to start calling these programs.

I received this email today from "onlineincomefinder.com" The woman's name in this program is Karen Miller....same sob story of crying at the doctor's office looking for a way to make money at home. With a bit of skepticism, investigation, and research, you quickly realize that this is yet another SCAM! When you hear even just a couple of complaints about customer service, that is your red flag to know that you ought to stay away from these programs. I have never signed up for one of these lousy scams before, and I don't plan to. let's face it people...there are no get-rich-quick formulas that the Average Joe can plug into. People are getting desperate, and these online scammers know it. Be careful!!! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Took the course, passed entire course with an 92% average, then the website went down for a week before I could even get started. When it came back up, it said I did not take two parts of the course and had no grade. Had to pass all parts before you could start working as an agent under their program. Sent three e-mails asking them to correct this - never got a response. Tried to go back to the website to see if it had been corrected. The web site had technical problems.... Now can't even get into the website. This has been going on for months. I give up. I think it cost me around $40.00.

Elizabeth Jackson/The Auction Listing Employment Agency is a complete scam, AT LEAST THE FTC THINKS SO, since they shut down the parent business and all the shell businesses and associated websites! This is the FTC case file:

Case No. 2:11-cv-00283-JCM-GWF
File No. 1023218

The defendants include wholesalematch, fortune learning systems, the business development division, and a bunch of other names all run out of the same office in Las Vegas by the same group of scammers.

Basically they got people to pay for a coaching program to get started selling on ebay and/or their own e-commerce site. Then they hit you with upsell after upsell saying you need this and that to succeed with your business. Some people got ripped off for $20k! Thank you FTC!! Hopefully people will get some money back!!

Scam!!! New name Karen Miller

They got me for a lot of money, but I have since reported it to my credit card company.

They promised a 90 day refund, but all the phone numbers to reach anyone have come up empty.

If you have purchased this course or something similar. I suggest calling your credit card company and placing a complaint.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this.

I am unemployed, and a graduating student of a medical institute. My unemployment insurance has expired, and I was in need of some kind of income as I searched for gainful employment.I saw this ad for work at home, on my EDD web site. Has to be legit, right? Wrong!!!It was a bust. I was guaranteed a refund within 60 days if it didn't work. Now,not only have I not received it, I can not get a response thru the number given nor an answer from e-mailing the person that administered the "webinars". The testimonial that drew me in to this venture was that of a person named "Karen Miller". Does anyone know of a path of recourse?

Definitely a scam. All of the posts here covered exactly what happened to me. In fact, I fell for it a few months ago but, did not read thoroughly. I became 'totally' outdone by the persistent phone calls requiring my financial data. (debt, cash in bank, etc...) On the last two pages or so of the book, they give you the real deal and mention the wholesalers web address at a monthly subscription of $39.95. Oh well, money spent and no crying over spilled milk now. lol

I almost bought into this until they asked for money. Decided instead to google Angela Werthers and it led me here. Thanks!

OMG!!! This is a Total Scam... Not Only is it Almost Believable, until you do the Research with the BBB and other resources... Thank God for my Due Diligence on this Subject... I too almost fell for this until i did my research. This woman Elizabeth has changed her name numerous times to keep trying to prove this is legit. however, there is no such employment nor Agency that Fortune 500 Companies are looking for like an Ebay Online Auction Listing Agent... Not too mention this company has an " F " Rating with the BBB... Word to the Wise... People - Before you spend a dime, please do your research on these fake individuals and companies who scam and take your last 49.00-99.00 in your bank account and that's just the beginning of it...Please enter into these work at home projects with caution....Thank you everyone,Gene

I have been looking for an online job for months, and keep coming up with nothing but scams. I have seen this one several times, and they gave the name Jennifer Johnson saying she was from my hometown. Well, I got the phone book out right quick, and you'll never believe it, there is no Jennifer Johnson listed. There are several other Johnson's tho, so I contacted all of them to see if she really lives here. No one has ever heard of her. I was quite disappointed. I will tell you this though, I haven't given up, because I know other people make money online, I just have to keep digging, and maybe I will look into drop-shipping a little more. I am just glad there are honest enough people left in the world to expose the frauds.

My wife, while on legitimate medications, fell for something like this awhile back, we are still paying for it besides in monetary ways. If authorities (I use that term loosely) know about this and other "programs" they should be "shut down" and appropriate legal actions taken.

I am so grateful that this site is here I was tempted to buy into this "home based business". I thought to google it and boy am I glad that I did. Talk about a close call. It's so shameful that these people exist.

I almost fell for this scam also, it just sounded too good to be true. So I called The BBB they said this company received an F rating and that it is located in a Las Vegas subdivision, it is owned by one person some lady and that it is not a registered licensed company. I then looked up the Home Employment Agency on Google and found information from your reviews.
It's sad people pray on each other especially when times are so ruff. I wish u all the best.
