Auction Monster
Auction Monster
is an eBay training kit that claims it can
show you how to make loads of cash from
popular auction sites. They use many
gimmicks to get people to buy their program
including giving away a trial offer for only
the price of shipping and handling.
As with most companies that use this
strategy for selling products, Auction
Monster has a customer service nightmare on
their hands. The fact is that most
people don't read all the terms and
conditions and assume that there will be no
future costs.
Thus, when Auction Monster begins
to bill them the full price of $60 and a
monthly fee they are outraged. More
importantly Auction Monster's customer
service is practically nonexistent.
Only a handful of people have reported
actually being able to get a representative
on the line to cancel their membership.
To make matters worse the information
found in the Auction Monster course is the
same rehashed material that you can find for
free browsing the net. It only offers
basic info and doesn't provide any advanced
techniques that ensure your auctions get the
highest bids and turn the most profit.
Overall, I would recommend staying away
from Auction Monster, there is no
point dealing with companies that use
deceptive billing practices when there are
tons of legitimate resources.

Comments to date: 10. Page 1 of 1. Average Rating: Kevin New York | 6:29pm on Monday, September 28th, 2009 | Haven't seen this product, but wanted to lend a comment for prospective eBay sellers. The key to eBay is not to get involved with drop shipping companies who are set up specifically for ebay sellers. Why? 1. You have to sell massive volume to make any real money since most of the margin is taken by the supply company and the all the associated fees. 2. Supply and demand principles are profound on eBay. If 100 people are selling the same item at the same time on the same site, the price will naturally keep dropping until it becomes unprofitable, or worse (LOSS). Also, if there is not the right demand, the product won't sell often enough anyway. 3. (MOST IMPORTANT) You are often competing against distributors (middlemen), not regular resellers or retailers. This means you are competing against the companies who are at the supply-chain level of your supplier!! So they can sell an item for excellent profit for the same price or less than you can buy it for yourself and in such conditions you won't be able to sell a darn thing. Some of these ARE the people who supply you which is totally unethical and only happens on eBay because of the novice experience of the resellers. In the retail world suppliers generally don't destroy their retail customer's businesses by selling directly to the public. But on eBay some do. Its too easy.
The right way to make an eBay business is to have good capital (money), and find real wholesalers (not bogus middlemen). And buy quantities of products AT THE RIGHT PRICE that will sell AT THE RIGHT PRICE on eBay for a sustainable profit margin. And keep doing that. Business 101.

Kitty Boise, Idaho | 2:59pm on Friday, October 31st, 2008 | I was almost considering signing up for "jewlrymillions" but thought better of it and ran a search to see if this was yet another scam and I ended up here on your website reading all the testimonials from people who had already been suckered into it and ended up paying. I guess I didn't fully read the jewlrymillions site either because I could only see the part where it said "sign up for free". It seemed easy enough, I already have an account on ebay and they made it sound so simple: list their jewelry on eBay, receive $100 from a customer buying a ring (their example), pay $25 to the company, earn $75 profit and company dropships item to the buyer. Sounds easy right? Well, the only part that's free is signing up on eBay, the company that dropships wants to get paid I'm sure and every reputable dropship company I have encountered asks members to pay a monthly membership fee. Another thing to consider is how many people are using this program trying to sell this exact same stuff on eBay? The economy is in a slump right now and eBay has made some horrendous drastic changes to their site which numerous people (mostly sellers) have been complaining about for months. Even with the holiday season coming up, I doubt that much of this jewelry will sell for what their suggested prices are. Listing stuff for sale on eBay isn't free either, sellers have to pay listing fees and final value fees (a percentage of what the item sold for), so please consider this before trying to sell ANYTHING on eBay. If you sell your own stuff you have laying around the house and no longer want you may not make very much but at least you don't risk getting caught up in some online scheme that will auto-deduct money out of your bank account. |
Trevor Wing Middlesbrough | 12:53am on Sunday, June 29th, 2008 | Could you provide me with the Phone number to cancell it |
Robert Freier Tennesse | 10:01pm on Sunday, June 8th, 2008 | They Billed me for over 2 years and got paid. When caught they said they would investagate it and get back to me. that was 6 months ago. The main company is Doba out of Murry Utah. |
Dee Honolulu | 2:44am on Sunday, May 11th, 2008 | I started getting chgs. from companies I never heard of...finally put in a dispute with my bank. Thats what I advise everyone to do. Seems they sell your info...thats my personal opinion....but there is no other way these other people could get my cr. cd. info. since I have never done business with Amer-leis or EZsaver. I will not order another thing on line unless its from people I've already done acceptable business with. I inquired at auction monster for a domain name for home business, jewelry millions....guess thats how it all happened....but I didn't end up doing business with them. Another mystery I guess. |
Scott Bruesewitz Wisconsin | 12:27pm on Friday, February 29th, 2008 | I bought the program for shipping costs only, did not know had to cancel within 10days or get charged $60 per month. When I called the company they sad basically too bad, you didn't read your contract. My opinion it was very deceptive. They would not email me anything proving to that fact |
Denise Washington | 1:02am on Friday, February 22nd, 2008 | i also was taken for a ride by Monster Auction. How do we get our money back. and how can we track their exact location? i would make it my business to give them a visit in person. they wouldn't like the outcome. what goes around, comes around. |
Ofelia Nevada | 6:32am on Sunday, January 27th, 2008 | I ordered the info, looked at it the same day, then cancelled. My next bank statement showed a charged for two months, although I cancelled within the 7 days as required and didn't have the product in my possession for 2 months. A few days later I was also charged for DOBA, which was supposed to have been free with auction monster. I called both companies and advised them that they will either refund all my monies or the fraud unit of my bank will get involved (I had already called my bank and they said they would). It took 5 days but they finally refunded. |
Dawn Location unknown | 3:06pm on Saturday, November 10th, 2007 | I signed up for this program as well and have never used it thought it was a one off payment but they keep taking the money out of my account. I have tried to ring their helpline but keep getting number not in use . I have no email address for them, and I wish to cancel my membership but don't know how to. Can anyone help????????????? |
John Brauninger Location unknown | 3:02pm on Thursday, November 1st, 2007 | The article is good and I am an example of how they "screw the customer" as I canceled my web entry the day it was entered in March 2007,but I continued to get charged $59.95 per month for March - October and when I confronted the CSM, Tabitha (would not give her last name), she would only refund 3 of the 8 auto deducts that should have been canceled last March. I will complain to the AG of NC and MN to get this c*** stopped. Tabitha also refused to let me talk with her supervisor and said she was ready for the complaints from any AG. I suggest all others write to their respective AG. Well, lady here they come. |
