I had joined Angela Pembrook's process from home or whatever she calls it. I was supposed to get her telephone number and emails address within 3 hrs. Well it was 4 days later and by this time I made attempts to cancel and get a refund (that I did) Last week I joined Work At Home Recruiters which is an Auction processor. I was supposed to get immediately a software program. You have to do tests for think 10 days. So I did the first test and the quiz and passed. I had to wait until the next day for day 2. When I clicked on it, the second day, nothing happened. I could not download the second day's training. There wasn't even a website, no email contact - just a toll free number. I called it but they do not work on Sunday. So I thought about it and decided this was not a good start and wanted to get my money back. So since there was no contact, I got a hold of the person who sent me the email to ask for a refund. I never heard back from her (that was on June 7th). I keep sending her emails and no replies. So I called the toll free number and they keep saying no one is available to take my call - to leave a message. I can't tell you how many times I called and the same response. I really do not think they would ever call me back. I found the following info on the Internet. This lady's name is Cathy Brooks alias Emily Thomas is really Angela Pe3mbrook. Look at this article:
The company, Auction Work at Home and Cathy Banks, do not appear to be legitimate. On the website there are 3 different addresses listed all across the US. The returns dept is in Utah, the address for Auction Work at Home is in Delaware, and somehow the terms and conditions of the website are governed by Minnesota Law. I don't know how, with this one, to get my money back. Can anyone help me?
thanks......and help........!@!!!!!!!! |

I invested $197 to find out you then needed to invest another 8 to 10 thousand dollars to start an internet business. When I asked for a refund I was told they would process, even gave me a confirmation number, but never rec'd the refund. I reported this to the Federal Trade Commission and have mailed them back an official legal statement. Anyone that has been defrauded by this scam should do the same. We need to stop this kind of internet scam. |

I received the info for a fee.I have tried to send several messages and never get them to go thru. I have their address now and am sending small claims info to them for the sum of the monies they took. I got one phone call but wasnt here and nobody bothered to try to make contact again. Pretty poor business practice. I guess I shud have known they were ripoff artists. I am doing small claims just for the principle and to get their name on record.
Thanks

"Angela Penbrook" is a made up name. This person doesn't exist. The Phone number is fraudulent and because of the abuse cause through the sight the owner of that phone # is reporting any and everyone who calls him to the FCC. Further the User is seeking action against the People who used his phone number through the FCC. |

Cracks me up that everybody really believes there is someone called "Angela Penbrook" and that this is her program, which she stumbled upon and created after all those terrible things happened in her life. The woman in those videos is an actress, a wannabe actress, or somebody's friend, who for whatever reason agreed to create that video. Angela Penbrook is, not surprisingly, just a "Pen" name lol.
Some people are trying to find out who's really behind this scam and make their life miserable in one way or another. Some names have been mentioned on this site, which may or may not be the actual names of those involved. However, trying to find the people that are truly behind these types of scams can be very difficult as they generally hide behind multiple layers of fake business fronts. One thing that CAN be done though, is to splash this woman's face on Youtube by reposting her video there, and seeing if anybody knows this woman. If you can find the woman pretending to be Angela Penbrook, and prove she's just a fake, then it should be easy enough to get this scam shut down and for people to get refunds from their credit card companies.
So my suggestion... put her video (which can be found on several websites) up on Youtube asking if anybody actually knows this woman, and see what happens. You'll get a lot of BS replies, but you might actually get lucky and find her. |

I bought the program in April and cancelled before the 30 days because they wanted me to invest another $1000. I said that was impossible and have called and e-mailed to no avail. I have now been told that I've been calling the wrong number! I think a class action suit should be filed against Ms. Penbrook. Evidently this is how she is making her money, by keeping ours. |

Angela Penbrook and angel stevens is also a scam because they took $200.00 + dollars from my wife, and when she tried to get a refund they kept hanging up in her face and or talking real ugly to her. I just wish I could come face to face with some of these crooks and know their names, they would be in prison where they belong. for all you scammers out there get your lazy ass a f-----g job stop praying on hard working people your day is near. |

I purchased the Angela Penbrook program. Angela made it sound great on the internet. I read through everything. I did learn that you had to do all the advertising. That was not something I wanted to do. I called and canceled my membership and program. I called two days after the purchase. This was well within the time limit to get a refund. I spend $197. I have now called 10 times to get a refund and it is yet to show up in my bank account. Each time I talk with the same supervisor and am always assured that it has been done while I am on the phone them. It never has happened. I even asked them if this was a scam and told them that I thought it was. Nothing. I would like to know if there is any legal action that I can take. This has to be against the law. |

What all do you have on Tafiti Consulting or FX Solutions or FX Marketing. I got taken back together to show that they scammed me bad. Got 4890.00 and it was such a crappy program to boot. I appreciate any help that you could provide as my credit card co. will not go against them until I find proof that they have scammed others!! |

After attempting to deal with penbrook for a refund for four months, they referred me to Fastsupportlive. They are as hopeless and helpless as Penbrook. I have dealt with them for over a month and a half to no avail. They, too contniue to tell me the money is on the way (check's in the mail). Then they tell me that a manager will contact me ( for a basic refund), but none has contacted me since July 11. Must be a busy organization to not be able to return a call for 45 days. Now, my claim has vanished and I cannot access their website without changing to a new email address. ANOTHER SCAM! |

I paid the 197.00 in March, realized it was not for me and immediately cancelled my subscription. I was told the money would be returned within 5-7 days. 25 calls later (to a number that no longer works with Penbrook) and 19 emails to the refund (Fastsupport)site they gave me and over 5 1/2 months later, still no refund. No less thasn 10 people have tolsd me the money would be in my account in 5-7 days. All of my credit refunds are handled processed and in my clients hands within a day when I have a problem. The same lies there as on the phone. A total scam. I have contacted the Attorney General. |

I was ripped off by Angela Penbrook Productions. Cost $197.00. As soon as I got the program I felt it was a rip-off. There was nothing telling about rebates, just how to get on Clickbank deal. Finally after a lot of searching I found something about Processing Rebates. There was about 8 listings to contact some were duplicates, One Called UMS said you had to go to Tempe Arizona to take classes, but then my e-mail was returned with an error message. One Company called parago, did answer my e-mail saying they do not ever give work out. I got through to Penbrook three times and asked for my money back as per their 90 day refund policy. They said it was coming back, the second and third time I called they again promised it back. They even sent me an e-mail showing it was authorized. I went to my bank, and they had me write a complaint to Visa. I think if you paid through a Credit or Debit card, and so many of you who lost complained, they might even be put out of business because they might lose their Credit Card Privelages. |
Marion Monica NY | 5:39pm on Thursday, July 31st, 2008 |
I, probably like everyone else, received an ad in my e-mail for processing rebates. I guess when something sounds too good to be true--it probably is. I filled out the form and paid the $197. on my Capital One card. The way the ad read I was supposed to be able to download an instruction manual and start working right away. I could not access the manual-got only blank pages. I called the "customer care line" and finally talked to a person who I could not understand because her accent was so pronounced. I finally got her to spell "wealthIC.com" which made no sense at all. I called Capital One and explained that I had gotten no instructions, no service, and no products from Penbrook Productions and did receive my money back. However, please be aware that Penbrook has passed your information to a company, Tafiti Consulting from Provo, UT. This company leads you to believe that they can have you up and running a business before your first payment comes due on your credit card. I had to cancel one credit card, but will receive my money back also. I feel stupid, naive, and very, very angry that something like this can happen with no recourse. I have reported Penbrook to the Better Business Bureau in CA and also the IC3-Fraud reporting over the Internet. Let's all work together to put dear Angela and her cohorts out of business and make them pay back all the other people who are not as lucky as I am. |

I lost $197 to the thief 3/27/08. All attempts to get a refund have failed. If everyone who has been scammed by Angela Penbrook would take the time to register a complaint with the FTC hopefully they can shut her down. Her advertisement is grossly misleading!! For safety reasons I cancelled the credit card I used to pay for her program; if she will steal from you once she will do it again. Thieves have no conscience, they have a way of convincing themselves that they are doing nothing wrong. |

For those of you still trying to get a refund and dealing with all the "dave"s and "jen"s from new dehli. Please do not believe that your refund will come in 5 to 7 days, i heard that for 2 months. The best way to get your money back if you used a credit card is to enter a dispute with the credit card company. Call the "customer service" line one last time and ask them to email you a copy of the refund reciept, besure to have them phonetically spell you email adress back to you or have your hindi translator close by to make sure that they get the address right. Once i got the reciept from them in the email i just sent it to my credit card company, which credited my account immediately. Funny thing was they credit card company had no record of the transacion and said the reciept was probably fake. I think the best bet to get these people shuit down is for as many people as possibel to submit these fake refund recipt the company is creating. You can be sure once visa or master card gets a couple hundred of these that they will go after these criminals. |

I guess we are all in the same boat. I have been told 4 times now that it will be 7 more days before we receive a refund and I am guessing after reading all the comments that will never happen. I do wish that we read these comments before we tried Angelas program. I have also reported to the better business bureau and wondering why they cant stop such a scam. If there are as many people complaining about her they should be able to stop her. For those of you looking to make extra money please DO NOT TRY PROCESSING REBATES FROM HOME. Out of curiosity, I went on to Angela Penbrooks website and filled in all my personal info so that I could get a better idea of what was involved in this business. When I submitted my info, I realized that they were already processing payment. I immediately called them on the phone and told them that it was a mistake and I was not interested. I was told by the representative that I spoke to, that payment would not be processed. But it was a lie. I filed fraud charges with my bank, but was unable to recover my stolen money. So I am out $197 with absolutely nothing to show for it. Angela Penbrook is a thief. |

I also purchased from A ngela penbrook for 197.00 as it sounded like such a great deal. When I realized I had been scammed, I called the customer service number and after speaking to several people, I was told my refund would be processed within 5-7 business days. They lie of course!! However penbrookproductions did send me an email that stated my refund was process successfully. I called again when it was not and was told again that it had been process successfully. again it was not. These customer service people lie and say the same thing over and over. I even called once and gave a fake name and they said the same thing. The bottom line is I quit dealing with the idiots and filled out a dispute form for a refund with my credit card company and attached the emails form penbrook productions stating the refund had been processed. Within 2 weeks the money was refunded to my credit card. Stop dealing with the ignorant people at penbrook. Once they give you an authorization number for your refund and send the email stating the refund has been succesfully processed, forget them. Dispute the refund with your credit card company and you will see that the money will be refunded. |

It should be illegal for them to do what they do...In my opinion it is false advertisement, and then to top it off, when you try to get your money back from their 90day money back guarantee, they seem to refuse to give you the refund...
I have had email replies for over 2 months, with all types of stories, and emails saying they already refunded my account...Which of course are all lies...
I am trying to find some info. with a Attorney or whatever to bring a suit against them for all this...I have saved alot email responses, and I am told I have to get my Credit Card Dispute Dept. involved..(((IS THIS FRAUD???Internet Mail Fraud???)))
Yes, it is a Scam...I even had a lady from them call me and suggest I take out a loan for $4000 to $5000 so I can be Coached, when I said no, she said I didn't warrant being coached then...
This is what happens when you become disabled and need to try to find some honest work...People from my church said becareful, and I said it will be cool, how hard can it be to fill out Rebate Forms, that they set you up with...They even showed a sample form...

This is information that I give to anyone getting emails that sound too good to be true. Before you hand over any of your hard earned money go to the www.BBB.org (Better Business Bureau). Also if you have given these companies any money and they are not returning calls, or money file a complaint with the Federal Trade Comission www.FTC.gov. These companies will be investigated and some are prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Do not give them your money until you have investigated them. Web search the name of the company and sometimes it will give you the scam pages or complaints about the company in the search. If you use a credit or debit card just call your bank or credit card company and file a dispute. Most of these scammers are not going to try and fight a bank or a credit card company. The banks will get there monies back. |

I was blessed to find your message & all the responses. When I came to the message of John, Chicago/Suburbs with the phone number 866-885-8126. I gave a call & the Lady that I spoke with said that she was approved to offer a 50% discount to continue. However, I declined & told her it was to complicated for me. She assured me my credit card would be posted with in 6 to 8 days. If not I should call back at this same number. Thanks to you & all who responded. |

i too almost got scammed by angela pennbrook., or maybe she's changed her name to angel stevens, who has the exact same web site for the exact same amount of money she wants to steal from anyone who is gullable enough, i googled, and voila! all these lovely little details came out about pennbrook, someone outa ck out stevens, surely she's the same little scam artist, they or she should be prosecuted, they're should be laws about this, and i'm going to try to find out!
there's another company that sends you a letter with a quite exuberent ck, for secret shopping, this is a real thieving company, who sends u a break down about the way the ck should be cashed, and then u are suppose to send them 3,000 some dollars via money gram,(company to be ur first assignment), u can keep 800, and 170 is for money gram fees, almost fell for it, til i noticed the ck came with a different company name, i called them after looking them up on the internet, was asked to send a copy of the letter, ck, and was told it was under fbi investigation, as the ck was a coppy of stolen ck from their company, and they had over 150 calls about it, be aware of any of these fraudulent scam artist who again i say should rot in prison.... lots come out of nigeria............ |

I registered a few weeks ago and since decided to get a refund. From a previous comment I obtained a phone number and called. Within a few minutes I was "refunded". I will check my credit card statement to verify. The number is 1(866)885-8126. |

If it sounds to good to be true your going to get screwed. This was a clever scam but aren't all of the scams that can con you into believing you will actually recieve anything for your money. This site and others are created because it truely is beyond missleading. I wouldn't have even entertained the thought of giving this a try based on the to good to be true factor but I looked at the Angela Penbrook Personal 3-Month 100% Make money guarantee. 90 days you'll make money or it's free, full refund no questions asked immediate refund no hassles whatsoever. My last thought was that I'm in Las Vegas and I am more likely to lose but can't win if I don't play.
I'm still in dispute with the transaction. I requested a refund within a day or so. By phone and email as well. From the point I clicked continue I new I lost and could only put up a fight for what is good and honerable in some of us. The others will laugh their way to the bank. For me, I can aford to lose the $197.00 so I took the risk. Hell, I lost a few grand in the stock market last quarter. You play you pay. She really needs to be stopped though. Most people decide to take the risk because they are despirit and really need to work from home. I think I'll go to Vegas, the odds are better there. |

I am with all of you and I was cheated out of this also. I am a mother of 5 children and I really need to work from home. I am also waiting on my refund. Please do not be discouraged because there really are buisness out there that really work. the funny part was that I spent over 800.00 in the last 2 years trying to find one, and it only cost me 25.00 to actually find one that really works, and is a home based buisness. Just remember that you really do have to work to have buisness, that internet sceems do not work. |

I also read the scammy material this so called company posted. Unfortunately, I paid the $197.00 immediately after reading all the material. My son gave me the money thinking this was a legitimate business. I then waited for some response as they said they would immediately send me an e-mail. Nothing came and the sight kept returning to the credit card page, which never gave me a confirmation of receipt. I then put in that skanks fake name and low and behold, these comments popped up. I then called the fake number listed on my bank account...no one ever answered. I read a post from M Buckley, Maine and got this number 1866-885-8126, Some non-american speaking guy said my refund will take 5 to 7 days and he gave me an authorization number. I asked what happens if I don't receive my refund, he said they would investigate. I threatened him with the FBI, etc. if my money wasn't back into my account. Lets see what happens. My bank is also investigating this company. I don't pray for crooks. I'll keep you all posted. |

OMG! Something told me when I received Angela's e-mail to Google it. WOW! Today is pay-day, and I was certainly going to give her $197 of my money. I'm about to be a mom, and I'm single, so I fell for the story too, thinking she and I at least have that in common. I didn't get really that far, before I pressed the button to evne fill out all my info, I closed the e-mail, googled her name, and all kinds of crazy stuff come up. WOW! Sure would have been nice, but it just goes to prove that there's nothing more better than hard work to get what's coming to you. At least it's honorable. With having a baby on the way, I'm in college too, I am way too long in the tooth and in my mid 30's to be falling for crap. I'm glad I followed my gut and looked her up. You can't tell what's real, and what's fake now a days, and that's really sad. The days of my youth (more trusting people with legit companies) are all but gone by the waste side. Oh well, back to work, and back to school. At least I know I'll earn my money correctly, and invest it properly. Thank you very much for this website, and I feel so bad for all those who victims to a lie, and greed. I know one other thing, I don't want to be anywhere near Ms. Penbrook when her own Karma comes back to haunt her and bite her on the a**. Didn't really get that far into her "rebate processing opportunity", and I'm really glad I didn't. You guys should really have a 1/2 star available for the program rating. I'll give her that much for "almost" giving her my money. When it's too good to be true, it usually is. If it smells too much like sh**, stay away from the stank. Thanks again for this website. |

Well she got me to, after putting up my $197.00 I couldn't find a log in page or anything. I down loaded alll the information and it was all junk. It's sad that people pray on others who are just looking for a little extra money. Making them think they will be rich so easy, this is a lesson well learned for me I will start researching from now on.Before I give up my money. |

I knew this was a scam, because as the old saying goes, if it's too good to be true, IT IS. I just wanted to check Angela out anyway and found this website. I too am on disability, and had I spent the $197.00, I would not have been able to eat next month. And it's true, NEVER PAY FOR A JOB!!!!Good Luck to all who did pay... |

I am a mother of a 3 year old boy to whom which my world revolves around. I hate my job, where I've been for 7 years. I'm under appreciated and have at least 5 supervisors looking over me on any given day. That's 5 supervisors to 2 other peons I work with. You know your job is getting to you when you have to call the doctor for an Rx to calm down and you're only 29 years old. I found Angela's scam on a job site that I had great trust in. I spent about two hours looking into this "dream job" and reading all about it. Then I searched her name and of course this is a scam and is too good to be true. It's very sad that American's have to now second guess anything that sounds like the American dream could be fulfilled. Where would we be without Google. Thanks to all who posted the truth. |

I fell for this too. When I called to get my refund, they kept telling me 5-7 business days, and the refund would be made. It has been almost 2 months since I made the request. They refunded my money, then took it back 2 days later! Remember they still have your credit card information! After I signed up some guy called me and said he would train me for $900-$1500 to use the system properly. This is a scam, stay away. |

THANK YOU FOR THIS SITE AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL!! |

Listen up everybody. I was scammed by Angela Penbrook Production. I've been relentless in trying to get a refund back of $197 since 3-6-08. I will not give up. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General Of California, The FBI, The FTC, The Attorney General Of Texas, and the BBB of Irvine, California. From the BBB I was able to get the real scoop on the company's information. So here it is:
Penbrook Productions
19800 McArthur Blvd. Suite 300
Irvine, Ca. 92612
Company's DBA Id#-100063903, started business 2-20-2008
The real number: 800 324-9708
I suggest that all who have been scammed file complaints via the internet with all the agencies above and including the Attorney General of your state of residence. If you live near the business organized a picket sign march, get the local news involved. Give them hell! I'm from the state of Texas and we do no take kindly to thieves. Good Luck to all. |

Angela Penbrook is one slick thief. After doing some research after getting ripped off,I have found that this WITCH operates under several names, but they use the same address and phone numbers, but they are buried in the message they are trying to get you to buy. I have been trying to get my money back for month. I still have not heard anything and I have sent emails, letters and called several times and only get rude people who hang up on you. At this time I believe they have no intention of giving me my money back, and I have chalked this up to a very expensive lesson of who not to trust. |

I can't believe so many people actually bought into this scam and paid. Somehow the email passed through my filter and I saw the ad. It smelled like scammy spam right away. I mean did you see the size of the ad?Googled Angela Pennbrook and sure enough got tons of ripoff stories from various websites. I know I shouldn't say this but greed is what got you all in trouble and greed will only bite you in the a**. I guarantee you that your sexy Angela is actually a big fat and hairy acnea ridden dude watching porn all day on the fancy 15 laptops he bought himself with your hard earned money. The morale: if a job offer asked you to pay first instead of paying you that ain't a job offer in the first place. |

I am so VERY DISAPPOINTED. I have not tried the program. However, I received an email from Angela Penbrook on April 12, 2008 and was SERIOUSLY contemplating becoming a "CERTIFIED REBATE PROCESSOR" from home. I decided to investigate the Rebate program more closely. And here I am...I am thankful for this website info and yet, it was linked to "Angela Penbrook's" site. How uncanny. |

They don't have negitive stars. But if they did this one would be -1,000,000,000. I thought this would be great. I am disabled living on a very limited income. I got lucking,I saw this add in the middle of the month(no money in bank)went to purchase and card was denied. Showed to my husband who is also disabled. He said sounds like something we could do together. I told him " it has to be good it is backed by our bank". Then he checked the scam site and low and behold this site came up. So too repeat what so many of you have said no way in the world is this Person getting my money. I saw this only 2 weeks before my money would be gone into the void as all of your money seems to be. Good luck in getting your monies refunded. I will pray for you. |

LT CALIFORNIA | 8:58pm on Monday, April 14th, 2008 |
Angela Penbrook is the biggest scam artist. She claims you can make easy money processing rebates from home, but you are only processing them after someone has purchase a product that YOU had post on a web site. my wife paid $197 and didn't receive anything through our e-mail as promise. The following day my wife used my credit card and purchased it again. She finally received an e-mail from the purchase on her credit card and i tried to cancel the purchase from mines. I was told i would receive my refund between 5-7 days. I wait one week, called my bank and was told my account was overdrawn because penbrook withdrew an additional $197 from account. Instead of replacing my money, they took it out again.
I called them and was told i would have to wait another 5-7 business days before i get my full refund. That was a month ago. I called my bank and they did an investigation and they put the money back into my account. I suggest anyone who's been scamed by Angela Penbrook contact your bank and get them involved. Maybe if they get enough complaints about this scam, someone could take her down and put her where she belongs. |

I tried to cancel one day later; phone calls, emails, confirmation #892368; transaction ID 645347704. I have been trying to get my $197 refund since February. After finally contacting my bank, I had to close that account because the bank says Sinbrook could try to get more money. My bank credited the account and says they will investigate. I wish I could see her walking down the street. I've learned my lesson! |

Congradulations Angela Penbrook You managed to sucker in another poor person with hopes of making some extra money needed desperately. I really couldn't afford to loose $197.00 but I guess this is a lesson well learned. Angela there's one thing that you forgot. THERE IS REALLY A GOD THAT WE SERVE AND BELIEVE IN. My wife and I will be praying for you each and every day that HE (GOD) takes control and decides what is best for you. The SCRIPTURES tell us to help the poor and needy not rob them. May GOD BLESS you in some way. |
