Angela Penbrook

Is Angela Penbrook's Process at Home a Scam...?

Angela Penbrook is currently promoting a relatively new work from opportunity.  She claims that her company can set you up with a job getting paid top dollar to simply process rebates at home.

Her program sounds very promising and Angela's home page says that, after you pay the $197 for your membership, she'll put you in contact with companies in need of rebate processors.

In reality her program teaches you how to sell digital products online for commission, then offer your own rebate.  The money that you make from each sale minus the rebate is what you will be earning.

So for instance, if an eBook is selling for $50 with an affiliate program that pays 50% commission they advise you to offer a rebate in the neighborhood of $10.  Thus, if you get a sale you make $25 - $10 with a profit of $15.

However, in order to attract customers to your rebate proposal you will have to advertise on the major search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN.  This advertising is done on a cost per click basis and if you follow the system you should be prepared to invest several hundred dollars into this.  This is something that Angela Penbrook waits to tell you until after you've payed the $197 membership fee.

So basically, you're not paying for a job but for a sales strategy that can be applied to affiliate marketing.  It is possible to make money with this method but it requires money to invest as you will be paying every time somebody clicks on your advertisement.  Within one day this can quickly add up to you losing $40 - $160 per day if you don't know what you're doing.

I wouldn't call Angela Penbrook a scammer but her advertising is grossly misleading.  Yes it's true that you'll be "Processing Rebates" but that's only after you've spent money, referred a sale, and avoided a refund.

I work online with a method where you can make several hundred dollars for a couple hours of work, whenever you have time.

This business is free to join and I won't charge you anything for the information, just let me know where to send you the info, Click Here.

Best of Luck,
Steve Albright

It's hard to have sympathy for anyone who signed up for this obvious scam--if this was so easy, and guaranteed to pay, then why wouldn't everyone know about it and be doing it? Your greed has cost you. Learn from it.

For those of you still trying to get a refund and dealing with all the "dave"s and "jen"s from new dehli. Please do not believe that your refund will come in 5 to 7 days, i heard that for 2 months. The best way to get your money back if you used a credit card is to enter a dispute with the credit card company. Call the "customer service" line one last time and ask them to email you a copy of the refund reciept, besure to have them phonetically spell you email adress back to you or have your hindi translator close by to make sure that they get the address right. Once i got the reciept from them in the email i just sent it to my credit card company, which credited my account immediately. Funny thing was they credit card company had no record of the transacion and said the reciept was probably fake. I think the best bet to get these people shuit down is for as many people as possibel to submit these fake refund recipt the company is creating. You can be sure once visa or master card gets ... read more »

I to have been trying to get a refund since May. I made my purchase in April. This is the biggest scam there is on the internet. This I wish there was a way that we all could just sue the crap out of this woman. She is making millions off of people like us. This the first and last time I will purchase any such mess as this. I will do my homework before I do... Thanks for this site. Good luck to all of us if we even get one cent back. Anyone willing to take a step and sue this woman email me.

I have been trying toget my 197 back for 4 months. Each time I get the it takes time. Four months is more than enough time. This program is a rip off. Judging from all the other comments on this site, she has rip off a lot of people. We cannot let her get away with this scam. Currently the phone just rings busy if you call now.

I guess we are all in the same boat. I have been told 4 times now that it will be 7 more days before we receive a refund and I am guessing after reading all the comments that will never happen. I do wish that we read these comments before we tried Angelas program. I have also reported to the better business bureau and wondering why they cant stop such a scam. If there are as many people complaining about her they should be able to stop her. For those of you looking to make extra money please DO NOT TRY PROCESSING REBATES FROM HOME. It is definately a scam. We are out $197.00 and probably will not ever see that again. Anna

I too wish I had seen this website before my husand and I paid the money to join. We thought we were getting into something that could really help our financial situation. We even got a call from someone shortly after we joined telling us Angela's company was going to mentor us so we could make lots of money. What a joke! Now we want to try to get our money back but I can't even find a website or email address to try to contact someone to get it. If anyone has an email address I would gratly appreciate it. If you post it here I will check for it, thanks!

Out of curiosity, I went on to Angela Penbrooks website and filled in all my personal info so that I could get a better idea of what was involved in this business. When I submitted my info, I realized that they were already processing payment. I immediately called them on the phone and told them that it was a mistake and I was not interested. I was told by the representative that I spoke to, that payment would not be processed. But it was a lie. I filed fraud charges with my bank, but was unable to recover my stolen money. So I am out $197 with absolutely nothing to show for it. Angela Penbrook is a thief.

I trusted this person to help me start getting my family out of debt by giving me the ability to work at home . Now we are out 197.00 and our financial situation is getting worse. I supposedly was to get a refund but it never happened. I tried to send another e-mail today but the message I got was that it was a missing address.

I too tried this and what a joke. Half the time I couldn't get on her site. I have been trying to get a refund for almost two months and all I am being told is that there is a glitch in the system. I am now on hold again and I have promised to go to the media about this. I am a stay at home mom just looking to make some extra income so my husband won't have to work two jobs. I think I may still go to the media regardless of the outcome. I used my tax refund for this and I know I am not the only one suffering. Thank you to everyone who has posted a comment. I also purchased from A ngela penbrook for 197.00 as it sounded like such a great deal. When I realized I had been scammed, I called the customer service number and after speaking to several people, I was told my refund would be processed within 5-7 business days. They lie of course!! However penbrookproductions did send me an email that stated my refund was process successfully. I called again when it was not and was told again that it had been process successfully. again it was not. These customer service people lie and say the same thing over and over. I even called once and gave a fake name and they said the same thing. The bottom line is I quit dealing with the idiots and filled out a dispute form for a refund with my credit card company and attached the emails form penbrook productions stating the refund had been processed. Within 2 weeks the money was refunded to my credit card. Stop dealing with the ignorant people at penbrook. Once they give you an authorization number ... read more »

It should be illegal for them to do what they do...In my opinion it is false advertisement, and then to top it off, when you try to get your money back from their 90day money back guarantee, they seem to refuse to give you the refund...
I have had email replies for over 2 months, with all types of stories, and emails saying they already refunded my account...Which of course are all lies...

I am trying to find some info. with a Attorney or whatever to bring a suit against them for all this...I have saved alot email responses, and I am told I have to get my Credit Card Dispute Dept. involved..(((IS THIS FRAUD???Internet Mail Fraud???)))

Yes, it is a Scam...I even had a lady from them call me and suggest I take out a loan for $4000 to $5000 so I can be Coached, when I said no, she said I didn't warrant being coached then...

This is information that I give to anyone getting emails that sound too good to be true. Before you hand over any of your hard earned money go to the www.BBB.org (Better Business Bureau). Also if you have given these companies any money and they are not returning calls, or money file a complaint with the Federal Trade Comission www.FTC.gov. These companies will be investigated and some are prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Do not give them your money until you have investigated them. Web search the name of the company and sometimes it will give you the scam pages or complaints about the company in the search. If you use a credit or debit card just call your bank or credit card company and file a dispute. Most of these scammers are not going to try and fight a bank or a credit card company. The banks will get there monies back.

If it sounds to good to be true your going to get screwed. This was a clever scam but aren't all of the scams that can con you into believing you will actually recieve anything for your money. This site and others are created because it truely is beyond missleading. I wouldn't have even entertained the thought of giving this a try based on the to good to be true factor but I looked at the Angela Penbrook Personal 3-Month 100% Make money guarantee. 90 days you'll make money or it's free, full refund no questions asked immediate refund no hassles whatsoever. OMG! Something told me when I received Angela's e-mail to Google it. WOW! Today is pay-day, and I was certainly going to give her $197 of my money. I'm under appreciated and have at least 5 supervisors looking over me on any given day. That's 5 supervisors to 2 other peons I work with. You know your job is getting to you when you have to call the doctor for an Rx to calm down and you're only 29 years old. I found Angela's scam on a job site that I had great trust in. I spent about two hours looking into this "dream job" and reading all about it. Then I searched her name and of course this is a scam and is too good to be true. Listen up everybody. I was scammed by Angela Penbrook Production. I've been relentless in trying to get a refund back of $197 since 3-6-08. I will not give up. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General Of California, The FBI, The FTC, The Attorney General Of Texas, and the BBB of Irvine, California. From the BBB I was able to get the real scoop on the company's information. So here it is:

Penbrook Productions
19800 McArthur Blvd. Suite 300
Irvine, Ca. 92612
Company's DBA Id#-100063903, started business 2-20-2008
The real number: 800 324-9708

I suggest that all who have been scammed file complaints via the internet with all the agencies above and including the Attorney General of your state of residence. If you live near the business organized a picket sign march, get the local news involved. Give them hell! I'm from the state of Texas and we do no take kindly to thieves. Good Luck to all.

Angela Penbrook is one slick thief. After doing some research after getting ripped off,I have found that this WITCH operates under several names, but they use the same address and phone numbers, but they are buried in the message they are trying to get you to buy. I have been trying to get my money back for month. I still have not heard anything and I have sent emails, letters and called several times and only get rude people who hang up on you. At this time I believe they have no intention of giving me my money back, and I have chalked this up to a very expensive lesson of who not to trust.

I guarantee you that your sexy Angela is actually a big fat and hairy acnea ridden dude watching porn all day on the fancy 15 laptops he bought himself with your hard earned money. I am so VERY DISAPPOINTED. I have not tried the program. However, I received an email from Angela Penbrook on April 12, 2008 and was SERIOUSLY contemplating becoming a "CERTIFIED REBATE PROCESSOR" from home. I decided to investigate the Rebate program more closely. And here I am...I am thankful for this website info and yet, it was linked to "Angela Penbrook's" site. How uncanny.

They don't have negitive stars. But if they did this one would be -1,000,000,000. I thought this would be great. I am disabled living on a very limited income. I got lucking,I saw this add in the middle of the month(no money in bank)went to purchase and card was denied. Showed to my husband who is also disabled. He said sounds like something we could do together. I told him " it has to be good it is backed by our bank". Then he checked the scam site and low and behold this site came up. So too repeat what so many of you have said no way in the world is this Person getting my money. I saw this only 2 weeks before my money would be gone into the void as all of your money seems to be. Good luck in getting your monies refunded. I will pray for you.

Angela Penbrook is the biggest scam artist. She claims you can make easy money processing rebates from home, but you are only processing them after someone has purchase a product that YOU had post on a web site. my wife paid $197 and didn't receive anything through our e-mail as promise. The following day my wife used my credit card and purchased it again. She finally received an e-mail from the purchase on her credit card and i tried to cancel the purchase from mines. I was told i would receive my refund between 5-7 days. I wait one week, called my bank and was told my account was overdrawn because penbrook withdrew an additional $197 from account. Instead of replacing my money, they took it out again.
I called them and was told i would have to wait another 5-7 business days before i get my full refund. That was a month ago. I called my bank and they did an investigation and they put the money back into my account. I suggest anyone who's been scamed by Angela Penbrook contact your ba... read more »

I wish I had done more searching on the subject, but I wanted to believe it was true. I have been trying to get my refund sice Feb 27th and here it is April. The best I have gotten from Penbrook's people is, "just 5-7 days Sir". Well I have gotten that story for weeks. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! the customer service and accounting departments are no more honest than that stupid rag of an advertisment. Eventually the company will collapse in on itself, poor customer satisfaction always brings them down. I feel so stupid. I just bought into the "Angela Penbrook" program TWICE! Once under Angela's name (for the $197 price) and a second time (for only $39) under the name of Cindy Dalton!!!

Her site is an EXACT DUPLICATE of the Process From Home website I paid for under Angela Penbrook. I can't believe I am this desperate to earn money and plenty of it from home! I have just read all of the above and it's extremely depressing to me especially, since I was just duped twice!!

I am calling the 1-800 # for the $197 refund AND have just emailed the "new Cindy Dalton scam" for a refund as well. I'm not sure about this one, though. I may just be out the $39! My husband is going to kill me (not really - but he will be VERY disappointed when he finds out tomorrow morning). I am so sad...

The photo on the Angela Penbrook page is a doctored photo, I'm a photographer and can tell by the lighting and the obvious cut and paste glow around the edges, so I truly doubt there really even is an Angela Penbrook. I am out of work and looking for something. I fell for Angela Penbrook's ad and paid the $197 with a credit card. There are no rebates given to process and you will not be able to have money put into your bank account the same day or the next 2 as stated in her ad. Her program is an artful way to sell you information on how to set up an internet ad business that you need to further fund to get started. Even then you are up against thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people around the world with the same exact ads and trying to do the same thing. Only more money and expensive spots on search engines can get you to be noticed. Not sure there are many people making money at all with this program. It is definitely a wolf in sheeps clothing type of sale.

The number to get your refund is 1-800-785-8042
I called and they put it through (it takes 7 days or so to get). The comment with the number to get a refund prior on this blog is inverted. The number I gave is correct.
