Angel Stevens

Is Angel Stevens' Process at Home a Scam...?

Angel Stevens is the creator of a new work at home opportunity that's recently taken the internet by storm.  Before you came to my website you probably saw ads on Google, Yahoo, MSN like this:

  • Rebate Processing At Home. Make Up To $250+ Per Day - 100% Money Back Guarantee - Join Today!
  • At Home Rebate Processor. It's This Simple 20 Rebates a Day = $109,500 a Year! 100% Guarantee.
  • Process Rebates From Home. Earn $15 on each rebate processed! Start earning today.

These types of ads have been plastered all over the internet to lure people into joining Angel Stevens' rebate processing program.  I personally even get advertisements like this from spam emails in my inbox.

Why is Angel Stevens spending a fortune bombarding us with so many ads?  Well her program is obviously big business and at $197 a pop is probably making her a fortune.  The question is will it make you a fortune, or any money at all for that matter.

So What's the Deal, Is 'Process at Home' Legit?

In a word? No!  Not only is Angel Stevens a complete scam, but the truth of the matter is that I haven't found a single 'rebate processing job' that's legitimate.  In fact there is no such thing as a rebate processing jobs!  That's right, no such thing.  Angel Stevens simply made it up and started charging $197 for it.

The way that it works is that Angel Stevens simply tells you to go sell products by offering a discount on the price of the product, which she calls a rebate.

    Let Me Explain...

So let's say you start promoting an ebook online that costs $40 and pays 50% commission.  You'll offer a rebate of $5 on the book.  When someone buys the book you'll earn 50% of $40, or $20, and after you pay your customer the $5 rebate you're left with a profit of $15.

This is how Angel Stevens claims you'll be able to 'earn $15 per rebate processed!'  Although this method is not exactly as advertised it may still sound pretty easy to do.  Wrong!

The only way for you to get people to notice your rebate offer will be to advertise it on the major search engines like Google and Yahoo.  This will cost you hundreds or even thousands of dollars every single month, and unless you're and experienced marketer you're likely not to make enough sales to turn a profit.

Angel Stevens has deceived thousands of people into paying for access to real work when all they're getting is a marketing strategy.  With her program you'll earn money only after you have paid for and created a website, paid for advertising costs, earned a sale, and avoided a refund.  This is a far cry from how easy and simple Angel Stevens makes it sound on her website!

Are There Any Legitimate Work At Home Programs?

Absolutely there are!  The U.S. Government estimates that nearly a million Americans use the Internet to earn a living.  I'm very fortunate to be able to say that I'm one of those people myself.  It wasn't all that easy though...

I spent the last 3 years researching literally hundreds of work at home businesses and opportunities.  Their costs ranged from only a few dollars to hundreds and even thousands of dollars to start.  Almost without exception they were downright scams offering only unrealistic earnings claims and the odds of making an actual living stacked high against you.

Eventually I came to find what I consider to be the best online job out there, and one I still use it to this day to make a great living from home.  This opportunity costs nothing to start and gives you the ability to make money within an hour of starting.  Check it out yourself and grab a piece of that internet money pie! Cheers,
    Steve Albright

I spent the last hour or so reading the Angel Stevens proven processathome.com/rebate affiliate processer. Read the entire site! The most informative information is given in the Disclaimer & Legal Rights, which proves you have no rights, and that the program is not guarenteed to work. Read the Earnings Disclaimer, and you will find you are not guarenteed to make a dime. If you feel it necessary to read on, you will discover that they do not guarentee anything as suggested on the home page. This is how she/he is getting away with soliciting people to a program that does not exsist. She/he has various companies listed as references such as Forbes, New York Times, AOL, CNN Interactive, USA Today and MSN Yahoo. I went straight to the Forbes site and found this information she/he is scamming people. Remember, if it sounds to good to be true, IT IS!

Fortunately I didn't spend that much and thanks to other posters I now have a phone number. I'm going to turn Angel of pocket book death Stevens into the FTC and FBI, my bank and they'll find her or him or whatever she/he it is. I only was bilked of $65. but it looks like others got a refund so i'll keep trying. I've e-mailed 4 times and i'll call and e-mail and turn her/it in. What a scam and I sure won't try other internet deals in the future.

I think Angel Stevens should be arrested. These are modern thugs and they use internet as way to steal money from you. You can call them professional thugs who looks for loop holes in legal system and makes customize bait for people like us to fall for it. Best is not to fall for it and do research before putting your money on it.
Such forums surely helps millions to stay away from
    such scams.. Thanx

If you paid for this "service" and are not happy, immediately apply for a refund. Now get ready for 2 months of aggravation. This is a scam and they do not want to give the money back. If you used a credit card, contact them about your dispute. Credit card issuers carry a lot of weight and these type of people depend on the use of credit cards. My refund took 7 weeks with many emails and phone calls. I also filed a complaint with the FTC which can be done on line. If you are seeking a refund be persistent and start right away. This house of cards is going to fold pretty soon and you don't want to knocking on the front door after they have fled out the back.

4 weeks=no return contacts, unable to get properly affiliated, unable to efficiently communicate w/customer support on landline, (talk about a language barrier!!!),& don't even ask about getting somewhere on line, it's like swimming up the Columbia River in the late spring. I'm going to the phone to ORDER a refund! stay away from this one people, it's a major rip-off and the reason some folks "go postal"

i signed up for the process At Home by Angel Stevens and hate it. it's not easy as she claims. The ad is misleading. once you pay the $197 fee that's when you find out what you really will be doing. Good luck trying to get your money back from her too.

Man, Thank God I didn't try this ridiculous scam. At first glance everything seemed to good to be true, I mean I even woke my wife up out of her sleep to show her what I had stumbled across....LMAO! Then her, being the wiser out of the two, told me to do some further research. So I typed in "Angel" Stevens and not to my surprise I found this site. Thank you all for your feedback, I'm sorry to hear from those who actually got played.

And they tried so hard for you to give them the 90 day trail so that you wont be able to get your refund back. To all please do your research first before you get scam in to the program. One more important thing, save any email you receive from Angel, or Process at Home. You'll need your original purhase information to get the refund processed. They will eventually ask for you to email them the original purchase info/receipt then you'll get your refund in 4-5 business days they said. I did get mine after the 2nd or 3rd business day I believe.

    support@processathome.com

This is the email address to use if you want a refund. You will probably exchange 4 or 5 emails with them before they finally give-in and decide to process your refund. They'll try to get you to give the program more time. Just continue to ask for a refund, and eventually they will give it to you. The whole process of exchanging emails, before they finally gave me my refund, took about 4 or 5 days. JUST BE PERSISTENT!

I got involved with this program justs a month ago. It only took me the first time trying to get set up to realize that this was not as advertized. The sad thing is, I want to make money to pay off credit cards and used one to get her program. I don't know if I'll ever get my money back, but I keep getting put off. I lost my job in March and have been desparately looking for a way to make income while I find another job. After I entered my info I tried to back out of the system, however, their "live" reps came on - and of course I could not get anything helpful as they continued giving me the same bull. Today I called the 800 number on my bank statement to get a refund. They told me that I was mistaken and they did not have my info in their system and this was not their company, even though it was their phone number and the amount was $197. I was advised that it was the bank's mistake and their were lots of companies out that that charged $197. After reading this site I decided to call them back. This time they had no problem locating my info after I threatened to call the Att Gen's office to report them. I asked a 2nd time for a refund, was sent another email to try it longer. I also almost fell for this damn scam. Angel is a very convincing individual. I thought that maybe my boyfriend and I could get into this together, and we could make some extra cash for the both of us, being that there were only two spots left. I went to my car to get my purse and I realized that maybe I needed to do a little research on little Ms ANGEL (more Ms. DEVIL). I almost and I repeat, almost fell for this horrible scam. With the economy being in the shape that it's in, who couldn't use the extra money? But I listened to my first mind, and researched before I paid a dime, (and it doesn't hurt being a little cheap also, lol). You know I don't understand how people can be heartless. I have been receiving all sorts of email and mails about working from home and making big money daily. Recently I even received a cashier's check in the mail from Secret Shoppers Inc which turned out to be a scam. But honestly the email from Angel got me thinking and for once I was contemplating on giving it a try because she sounded so convincing and being a mother (which she claims she is) I thought she understands how life can be sometimes. I almost clicked the button but decided to check abot her on the web, and am glad I did. Folks let's all together help the gullible ones, in this time when it's hard to stay financially stable in the midst of our economic situation. I also was very interested in what Angel had to say. But before signing up I read the diclaimer and legal rights of the company at the bottom of the page. Everything in the disclaimer was opposite of the add. They only have a 30 day refund policy, oh guess what most credit card companies give you that long to cancel on the card. When the legal rights are stating something totally different than the ad beware. Then I researched her and found this page.

So glad I stopped by. I was so excited when I read about Angel Stevens program today. I called my daughter, immediately and said this is so great. Mom can really pull in some extra cash now. Just typing up rebates. She growled when I told her it was only $197.00 since she would have to lend me the money. Both of us, being suspicious- due to getting aced out of money in the past for mailing letters, scams, I told her I would do some research on google. Glad I did. It sounded so easy and fun and to know I would have ended up with regret and disappointment. Thank You for exposing the program for what it is. Money is too hard to come by. It seems so unfair that people can do this to others who work so hard for their money!

I fell for it, paid them my money, and got nothing out of it. I didn't get a refund, and now I have people from her office calling me and telling me that they are going to help me set up my own business and that I am going to be processing rebates from huge companies. But first I have to pay a one time membership fee of $1900!!!! Forget that, what happened with the one time fee of $197?!?! This is a scam and the guy on the phone got mad at me when I told him that I wasn't going to pay $1900!! I have lost my money but I hope that this website stops others from giving her their money.

I to was about to make the decision of purchasing her program. I'm glad I found this site though. I was astonished with all the people that had been scammed by her because I guess she makes It so believable. It's funny because I read all of Legal Dislaimers and I mean every word of it and It raised some concern because there was so much stuff mentioned it was reading the freakin dictionary. I guess who every started this scam knew that they had better include everything or else there would be serious repercussions. I just wish I could find a legitimate work at home program where I could make money. Hmmm, well maybe one day I will. Anyone know of such?

I fell for the scam! I am a new person online. WOW It sounded really good, The clock was ticking on her web site and I gave her 197.00 the last money I had. I needed that money! I have called them 4 times to get a refund! Its has not happened yet, I will call them 25 times a day if I have too.I wish I would have looked at this site first but, I am too trusting! This will never happen to me again!! The customer service phone number there is 1800-381-7820 keep calling till you get an answer. How can she sleep at night? She will face her maker someday and have to answer for the bad stuff she has done! MONEY IS THE RUTE OF ALL EVEIL

This was my first experience with a internet business opportunity and it will probably be my last. It sounds great but when you get down to it, it really isn't. I purchased the program with a credit card just to see what it was all about and found out that there's more to it than just processing rebates for 11,000 companies. Long story short, I emailed Process At Home and my credit card company of my intentions to ask for a refund, thinking it would be a hassle, and found out 3 days later and by just sending one email to both parties(credit card company and Process At Home)that it was very simple. Checked my credit card statement 3 days after I sent in my request for the refund and there it was, a credit back for the $197 I spent to purchase the program. Apparently there have been numerous complaints and now that the word has been spread out that this is a SCAM, Process At Home just doesn't want to deal with it. I'd be more than happy to help anyone with a refund if it's as easy ... read more »

I do run two legitimate home businesses and also do a lot of work through my lcoal SBA promoting consumer awareness about the home biz industry. There are scams out there, but not everything is a scam. You just have to know how to research a company.

Process at Home was brought to my attention by a consumer who felt the firm commited fraud and ripped them off. Based on a quick review of the website all the FRAUD alerts I teach folks about is there.

The company does not have a physical mailing address they only state they are located in Cypress. Nice way to avoid the FTC and US consumer protection laws. They do not utilize the US Postal Service, and they do not disclose HOW you are paid. A quick google gave me an eyeful and brought me here to see what others are saying.

Reviewing the companies home page and documents my client forwarded to me for opinion, the company has a third party vendor who is processing those credit card payments (esellerate.net) and they ARE based in... read more »

Look anything that looks to be to good to be true is. I feel for those that have ventured into programs like this but there are two ways to make sure you don't get screwed always make sure you pay with paypal.com they will make sure you get your money back. Look unfortunately anyone with any common sense wouldn't give you the oppertunity to take money out of there pocket unless perhaps its family for a measely price. The affiliate advertising don't tell you that you have to pay for every click of the mouse someone makes and doesn't buy anything, the rebate processing is not actually rebate processing but gives you affiliate companies that you can sell thier products for 75% commision which is not rebate processing at all but actually internet selling that you have to pay for! Please remember always check the BBB first!

I am a single mother and going to college so I always need extra cash to maintain my house hold. I almost paid the $200 dollars, but being burned by different scams (for instance, mailing envelopes from home, or finding grants online or given a book by Mathew Lesko) made me very reluctant. It is too good to be true. I am so grateful I found this site. Most people don't know how or where to begin to stop people like her. What about passing a law or if one exist maybe it needs to be revised? This has to stop.

I thank God for putting the hurdles in front of me. After I saw Angel Stevens' email and did a quick scan of what it was about, I tried to apply. Luckily I was blocked because the only payment method was via credit card and I don't own any. But when came to that part, I wanted to check if there was information on payment methods, so I went back to the homepage.

Coincidentally, something caught my eye. The homepage had a highlighted sentence saying that we are allowed to try it out for free for as long as we want, then at the bottom of the page it says we have to pay a "one time fee". So I emailed the support and shot them, asking whether it was a scam and why they said it was free and we still have to pay.

They replied with the excuse that "free" is not possible otherwise quality is hard to maintain and neither are they able to deduct it later since companies pay us directly. So after getting their reply, I did a google on Angel Stevens and found all the fraud reports. Thank God... read more »

After reading the continous e-mails from Angel Stevens, I thought this is a good opportunity to get that extra money. I called my husband at work and told him that I am going to sign in. He was sceptic from the very beginning and told me to do research before. I was a bit upset thinking all the vacancies will be filled up before I make my decision. I googled her name to see if the person exists after all and her I am. Thank god I did not pay a penny. What a shame for her children to have a mother like her.

I did the subscribtion 3 hours ago and then I decided to check what do people say about Devil Stevens.I know all my fault and I really wish I would have checked this site before paying. Now I have sent 5 emails already to ask them not to get any money from my bank account as I don't want their program anymore, but I am sure it will take me a while if ever to get a refund. Unfortunately my bank will not block the payment as they say you have authorized it. I am worried as I am not in US like most of you, so I only hope that I will get the refund. One thing I know is that I won't stop emailing and calling them. NON STOP UNTIL I GET MY REFUND.

The company said I would receive it in 7 to 10 business days that was three weeks ago and I have yet to receive the refund. Now whenever I try to call them back all I get is a busy signal. I got an email on 4/21/08 about Rebate Processing from Angel Stevens and thought it sounded like something that was legitimate and paid the $197 immediately. After reading part of the first module several days later and realizing how much time this would entail and how much money I would really be spending, I decided to cancel my subscription. I emailed this "company" once a day about a refund for over a week, and kept getting emails from someone who was "a friend of Angel's" (with poor grammar) trying to talk me into completing the course. I kept emailing and demanding my refund for over a week. While doing that, I was receiving hang up phone calls from Los Angeles, CA; Austin, TX, and Orlando, FL...all numbers that traced back to Angel Stevens company. Since I have registered with the do not call list, I started emailing Angel Stevens every time I got a phone call...which has been one to two times a day, including today, which is Saturday. GOT MONEY REFUNDED!!!

Sent money for the program and on the first day asked for the refund through email. Spent three days emailing back and forth getting form letters from people for "work with Angel."

I called their support number and after they called me back, it actually did happen, I got my refund. The refund was immediate through PAYPAL. I don't know if emailing them I would start a PAYPAL dispute helped but the support call came back within minutes.

They won't let you stay on hold and wait for their refund people. I just told them I would call everyday and have been emailing everyday for three days requesting the refund.

At least I got my money back on this one.

I am a single Mom, struggling to make it pay day to pay day, work full time and go to college full time, not what I needed right now for sure, to loose that much money! Problem is, there probably isn't even an "Angel" to begin with, just crooks laughing all the way to the bank. Hey guys Steve Albright is one smart guy keeping everyone posted about scams and potential scammers out there and he is 100% right. Angel (a beotch who I would like to stick my size 9 shoe straight up her a$$) does not send you any list of rebating companies or anything she advertises for, it is only a how to guide to set up a marketing account that deducts a minimum of $3.00 from your account everyday, as well as anytime someone clicks on your link, which in the end your new supposed business also screws the next poor person believing in your new how to make money scheme. All that is setup is links on how to make money and promote selling of digital products, that has a link to your name, but you never receive the profit through a program called clickbank. I do not recommend this program of Angel Stevens Processing From Home, as the beotch is creating a scamming program, and would like to thank Steve for elaborating us with a more in depth reason for Angel's Processing from Home Scam.... read more »
